In 1862 Mexico defeated the French in the Battle of Puebla. And I'm so glad they did because Cinco de Mayo is one of my favorite holidays. OKOKOK it's cause the chips and guac. But it's also because throwing Cinco de Mayo parties has become a tradition and a fun one at that. One year we even had mini sombreros. You don't know fun until you are wearing a mini sombrero.

We threw ourselves this party very spontaneously. But it featured all of my favorite things; homemade salsa, a homemade pinata, and Enrique on repeat. VIVA LA MEXICO
